A Tribute to our beloved Nephew, Mr. Santee Sellem
From Mrs. Irene Florendo
Warm greetings to all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are very sorry to hear about the tragic accident that happened to Santee. We are saddened by his passing away, gone permanently to heaven.
In John 14: 1-3 Jesus comforts his disciples. “Let not your hearts be troubled: you believe in God believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you, I go and prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there you may be also”.
First of all we thank God for the short life of our beloved nephew Mr. Santee Sellem on this earth. Sorry we could not travel soon enough due to creeping age. Leo Sr. fell on his face last Saturday so we are not in perfect health for a trip home. Anyway, our spirits and thoughts are with you all. Since we have heard about the accident we have all been praying for him. God has a plan for each and everyone, so we commit Santee unto God’s will. Our comfort is knowing where he has gone, now in heaven, no longer suffering in pain and discomfort. Of course we are going to miss him here on earth but someday we will meet again in heaven if we all follow his example. Santee was a dedicated son, husband, father, friend to all and most of all a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
During our vacations in the Philippines he was always in Sagunto ready to help us, ready to meet us and send us off at the airport. He was always there helping drive, cook and take care of Leo Sr. He is the most loving and caring nephew we ever had. Too bad his ambition to go abroad was cut short. To Christie and all the loved ones who are there, may the Lord comfort you and give you courage, strength and good health during this time of our family tragedy.
On behalf of our family we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who are there to be with the family during this time of difficulty.
Let us continue to serve and be faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ so that someday in that bright morning we will meet again in heaven. For all of us who are left behind let us continue to be good, love and care for each other wherever we are abroad or in the Philippines. Let us continue to pray and communicate with each other. May God bless us all wherever we are.
Let us close with prayer:
Loving God, you are our refuge and strength. Grant us your blessings this hour and enable us to put our trust in you that our spirits may grow calm and our hearts be comforted. Lift our eyes beyond the shadow of death and help us to see the light of eternity. As we find grace and strength for this very time of need through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

TO the SELLEM FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY TO CHRISTIE,
OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCE for your sudden loss of your beloved Santee. So sad and unexpected and I know how difficult for all of you to take the situation. Yet, reassured that that he is already with his creator. There’s God’s plan for him that’s why he went ahead of us. He served God in his own way and with his best. I knew him for a short while but seemed he was a long-timed acquaintance and close relation. He was ever so polite. To you Santee, may you rest in peace and till we meet in that promise land. I will inform friends and relatives of your new address.
NOTICE OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS:
Dear family and friends, I want to let you know that I have moved. I received a call from God, the chief architect on the 20th of June 2010 and He informed me that my new home is ready and that I can move in immediately. Well, my new home is finished and it has such a beautiful pearly gate off the celestial shore.
Of course, the streets are paved with gold and everyday is just glorious. I have visited many places before my new home was prepared but none other can compare.
The peace, joy and happiness here with no more pain or suffering, no strife or discontent. There is only sweet serenity everywhere. I could go on and on about my new home but I have to go and fit my wings.
