Dear Sagunto Star:

I’m sending photos of several individuals who onced lived in Sagunto: Dolores Sunang Raquel and Memory Sunang Robinson who left Sagunto in June 1966. Juanita Sangbaan Claudio who left Sagunto in 1969. We live on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.

    Thank you Manang Memory for posting their pictures. Makaparagsak alunay met ta makita manen dagiti ayayaten tayo nga kabaryuan ken kaaruba idi. Please post your other activties too so we’d know what fun and acitivities you are enjoying in that part of the globe. Hawaii is a great place to live in. Filipinos there are happy to spend each day of their lives. In Kahuku, I have joined my uncle and 12 other Ilocano men fishing along the rocky beach. Please visit often and tell is more about your life there, Manang Memory. Hope to see you in Phil. (or Hawaii) in the future.

    Ulp. I meant to say “happy launay” …”tell us more” pls. Thanks, Manang. Wow! Beauty ka pa rin talaga, Mng Memory. Can you come next Homecoming and be our Purok 5 candidate for the Mrs. Sagunto? BTW, who wll be hosting or sponsoring the next Sagunto Homecoming? Japan? bwahahaha. How about US of A, or Canada? or Hongkong?

    wow!! kasta kabayag nga adda kayo apo dta abroad gayamen, saan pay nga naiyanak da tao idi, isu met laeng gayam nga saan ko malagip ni manang memory ken da apong sangbaan..ket agbakasyon kayo sagunto tapno
    maka relax kayo, saan nga problima ti sumang-aten ta ado ti taxi nga pagluganan
    taxicle wenno tricycle..hehehe

    I enjoy watching the Christmas parade video ti Sagunto–lots of young people! Kasla nalawla-wa ti kalsada idiay Sagunto idi ubbing kami. Payas on one side…cabakiran on the other. Adu nga kawayan no agpangatu ka from nite church meeting ket uray la mabutbuting kami nga magna–alalya! laffing..hehehe. Adu pay idi ti
    bung bunga nga kaimito, sarquillas, santol.bayyabas, saba .lots! Bul bul dok from the rice fields no panagtutudo. A lady used to bring me everywhere she went…to the mountains, ket agluto ti calunay with fish…MMMM! It was a great life! I miss and long to visit Sagunto. Hopefully soon.

    yap if you have grown in sagunto the place will really mold you and challenge you for a better life. modern way of life that the world is experiencing Sagunto is a part of it for the past ten years awanen dagidiay kakawayanan diay susungadan ingga agpa macoco ken agpa \pilawan saanen nga kas idi nasamsamek balbalay kada mansion ng agkakadakkelen ay na imbga la ketdin ta na experience ko pay daydi kinapintas ti aglawlaw maikomparak ti biag idi ken ita.
