Sison Town Square

December 9th, 20080 Comments

The Sison fiesta is in a few days and it seems that the construction of the new town square, started a year ago and had been plagued by delays, is finally coming together nicely. Just in time to greet Sisonians abroad who are going home in greater numbers this year to witness the amazing progress that has been taking place in Sison since Mayor Kimi took over the reins.

According to Kagawad Loejan Anudon,

The tiled area is where the old auditorium used to stand. As you can see, there will be no more barriers or fences so everyone can be part of any public activities.

On the northern part is a grassy area, equal to half of the whole plaza, which will be the park where lovers can leisurely walk or where children can run and play. The tiled portion can also be used by those who want to do taichi during mornings or where the old folks can exercise.

The plaza will be installed with BIG SPEAKERS hung up high on poles for soft music to reverb all around. There is the white building that is in near completion in the eastern side. That will be the public CR that according to Engr. Jun Lacsinto is computed to cost 4M including all accessories and labor. The stage will be covered with the latest inventions.

And during the fiesta BABAHA NG SAN MIGUEL BEER AND KOALA REDS which is being readied for Her Majesty Queen, Tessie Alboukharey.
