Sison’s Idols, according to this article on the Season for Sison website, have been attracting attention and garnering fans as they visit various schools and barangays in Sison.
At a lunch, Mayor Kimi, the brain behind this venture, said that this year’s activity is a new season for Sison where the youths are given the glare of publicity, hence, this year’s theme, “THIS IS MY NOW”, a tribute to Sison’s youths. “This is to boost their expectations, to give them hope and let them feel their worth. Whoever prevails in this contest shall be crowned the town’s 2008 king or queen,” the Mayor added.

Sison will hold an INDIGENOUS PEOPLES CELEBRATIONS, “BEGNAS” on October 30, 2008 and the organizers are asking for your support (see letter below). The event is sponsored by the Tribal Council Federation, Sison Tribal Women Federation and the Bago National Cultural Society of the Philippines Inc of the Municipality of Sison, Pangasinan.

Leonora Marie Palattao-Alcaide celebrated her 18th birthday last September 6. Leonora is the daughter of Delores Palattao. The birthday was celebrated with a bash held on September 20 when family and friends joined in the fun. Happy 18th Birthday, Leonora!
