Sagunto is bustling with activities as usual, but these days various projects are propelled by our honorable Mayor Kimi’s vision. On the agricultural front, farmers are gearing up to supply the mayor’s campaign to make Sison a major supplier of vegetables and pink lady papayas. Satellite markets are being planned to market Sison’s products to Sisonians and neighboring towns. These markets will also encourage travelers to stop and buy Sison’s products, taking the fruits of Sison beyond its boundaries.
Saguntonians are positioned well to take advantage of these initiatives. Cherry tomatoes and red lady papayas are only a couple of the vegetables and fruits being tested in our farms for market. Continue Reading »
