ONGOING MAJOR PROJECTS OF SISON POSTPONES MAYOR KIMI’S VISIT TO LONDON

The planned visit of Mayor Kimi to London on April 2008 was unavoidably cancelled due to the ongoing total rehabilitation of the municipal auditorium and the two Barangay Food Terminals. They are the three major concerns of the honorable mayor and the Sanggunian Bayan that extremely require her personal directions. The realization of a bus terminal in Sison is also one of her many projects under study that she is hopeful to be realized.
Mayor Kimi was strongly advised to stall her commitment to visit London during a luncheon meeting held in her office to give full attention to her ongoing projects that must be completed before the rainy season comes. She has apprehensions about this mandate but she has to comply for the common good of the many. Cutting of unnecessary expenditures was also one of the main issues during the meeting.
Another reason for the restraint is her inevitable exit again to the US on June, 2008 to attend to her two daughters’ graduation ceremonies. The trip expense is personal.
She is extremely upset to the sudden turn of event but hopes to see all Sisonians during the 2008 town fiesta.
