   hello everyone!!! i’m not a regular here in SS, but i am aware of all the issues here… and the latest “issue” hit me a lot being the daughter of the person whom some of you are judging w/out a fair trial!!! sakbay kayo koma nga sumanao ken mangdadael ti tao, kitaen yo koma nga umuna no ania ti talaga nga ma ar aramid… no kayat yo nga makita diay kuarta consult the organization’s treasurer, ta baka isipat sipat na pay kaniayo diay 30 mil nga sap sapulenyo. You should know that the Organization w/c my mother was the President is a Non - Gov’t Org. which aims to improve our barangay and they can’t do it w/out their fellow Saguntonians financial, but is it that when help comes pouring in nagadu metten ti makib -kibiang, ken sumal sali, our fellow Saguntonians abroad, responded to their solicitation because they believed that this project is of a noble cause and would benefit all Saguntonians, and when that happens nagadun ti umapal only because of that little amount…The thing is, the council wanted to get hold of that money, but the organization refused to do so, since it is a NGO, and those were entrusted to them, and to the Anon person in Chatango nga mangsap sapul ti libreta, isn’t it better nga makitam diay Cash - On - Hand? go and check with the treas. i tell you once again, it would be better no inkabil mo no sino ka talaga, ta ammo mi met a no sino ka or you’re just afraid you can’t proved the degrading words that you’ve been telling! Once again, don’t be too judgemental, when you really don’t know what’s going on, now if you have proof, show them, “I CHALLENGE YOU”! I’m not yet done! Be back!

   I personally think that the Barangay Council and The Tribal Womens Association will sort this very simple problem themselves. But if you want the donors opinions then feel free to ask them. Why not? Why not publish an opinion poll in this website and see their ideas and what have you? We owe it to them because they are I call a driving force in terms of financial matters in this 2007 fiesta. Please I urge each and everyone to restrain yourselves and don’t pre-judge because as Jocy said, the money is safe in the Tribal’s Treasurer hand.

    Its much better for barangay councils and sagunto tribal women’s to sort or to fix this problem as soon as possible. What’s happening now is so ridiculous, and its unprofessional. Haan tayo kuma bay-bay-an nga kuarta laeng iti makagapo iti apa iti agkakabarangay. Don’t prove that Money is the root of all evil..,how can we lead our barangay to a lasting peace, progress and prosperity nu agkakabarangay met laeng iti aga-apa. settle this problem. Wag na nating palakihin pa! and one thing more, a lot of comments/message here in our barangay blogspot/chatango that I have read, and I noticed nga puro pinnasagid kin panagapa… makapauman apo…apay kasta tattan ti blogspot tayo?ipakaammok apo nga haan lang nga sitayo nga agkakabarangay iti makabasbasa kin dagitoy sasao tayo ditoy blogspot.anyone, kahit sino kabarangay man o hindi ay pwedeng maka access sa blogspot natin, hahayaan ba nating kumalat at lumaki pa ang issue?

    Okay, River beautification this time. Good no nalpas ngaruden dayta past issue. As I’ve promised, I will share little help for the river project, and each set of donation will be for each particular group, para wala nang gulo. Sabi ko na nga kasi, I had a feeling before ganito kalalabasan. Madaming signatories, maraming mag ke claim, unclear recipients of proceeds, unclear ending. Kaya, kanya-kanyang accounting and auditing naman ngayon per club. Di po ba?

    But I’ll have conditions of course (syempre, as donor, I have the prerogative how it should be spent, as I have my own accounting for my own pet projects and goals to meet…take it or leave it). Hehehe, pasensya na po. Ang kulit ko no. Kahit konting tulong, OK naman di ba? Yung iba naman, I’m sure magbibigay din. I’m stating the amount here so alam nyo kung ANO at SINO ang hahabulin nyo, hehe. Kung walang follow-up, tatamarin din kaming mabigay, di ba mga ka- tsokaran? Friends, paki state din ninyo amount ng ibibigay nyo, para malaman namin kung kulang pa, o marami na (para mabawasan ko ibibigay ko, bwahahaha).

    I promise to give 3.5k or so to the Tribal Women’s club, 3.5k to the Seniors Club, and for other groups, upon request. (magkano na ba isang lapad ngayon, ngek) I have been wishing that I , myself could lead a major clean-up and beautification of that part of our barrio for years now, but I’m here abroad, so it’s best to support others to do that job. Pag may nasave pa ako from not visiting McDo. regularly, I can share more. I’m posting my plan here as an example, so others can consider giving AGAIN. Huwag po kayong magsasawa. Aayusin naman po nila lahat na, promise!

    As I’ve said, we do not have a park in the community. If made beautiful, the river not only can supply us again clear and clean water but also inspire us with its beauty and fresh air. I salute the Tribal Women’s Group and Seniors Fed. for considering this suggestion of mine before, that’s why I’m here and ready to support.

    At dahil talagang makulit ako, I will definitely visit and inspect if there’s something accomplished and work done.
    Long live those who always think of the community’s welfare! Mabuhay kayo!

    Eva you requested that I will say sorry in here and I said I will do it after the surplus has been declared and in the hands of the Barangay Treasurer. So, he he he! here it is hhhmmua! “I’m sorry” and if the rest of the troops, ehe! anons gayam won’t say anything then I will carry them on my shoulders and gladly say it for them. I hope you are happy now, so as Jerry and Jocy. Let us put this behind now and I think we learned something on this experience. The Barangay Council should be more specific in the future regarding their instructions to solicitors that any surplus must go back to the Barangay. Today is a happy day for everybody and lastly, I like to sing the song “Onward Christian Soldiers”. Who wants to sing it with me?

    OK Kondaling, Jerry, Eva, Jocy, anons, etal. Let us now put this behind us. I’ll sing with you kondaling I hope and pray that this issue, as it unfolded and continue to unfold will be a lesson for us all here at the abong.

    I specifically did not want to enter the fray while it was being cleared up so as not to put kerosene to the fire, as they say. Since the money is now in the hands of the council, I feel free to state my mind.

    This is what I told a friend about this issue:
    “Let’s all put aside the egos, hurt pride and prejudices to help our people who need it. I don’t know what is going on there, I don’t know what has started this mess, I don’t really care about the details at this point. My only concern is for everyone to remember that we are all Christians with good intentions, therefore, we can work out the details amicably, quietly and most importantly, with dignity. We have to show our kailians that we are all united in making Sagunto a better place. A showcase Barangay. We cannot do this if we have these constant in-fighting and feuds. The issues are so petty but the damage done to _____’s reputation in Sagunto Star by accusations and gossip by anonymous posters, is truly troublesome to me. It leaves a terrible taste in my mouth and it makes us all Saguntonians look bad.

    Someone asked me if I thought it would be ok for the money we’ve donated to go to the river cleaning project be turned over to use someplace else. My thought on that is, when the monies are solicited for a specific project, that money should be used for the project solicited for. If the money was solicited for general purposes for Barangay use or whatever, and I donated to it, then of course. But if STWA says river project and I read THAT, and donate to it because I’m passionate about getting that darn river cleaned up, I would not want the money to go anywhere else BUT the river project. So, my answer to that person is, NO, I want that money to go to clean that river, it is what you asked me and that is why I gave. It is the right of the donor to be informed when money donated for a specific project is used for something else other than what it was solicited for. I hear other kailians here who say that they’ve been donating for this project and that project but nothing is ever done because the monies are spent on other projects than what was originally asked. They will tire of us asking them for money if we aren’t going to use it the way they intended it be used.”

    So, I say to you all, let us put this sordid mess behind us. Let us continue to support the Mayor, the Barangay council, STWA and other NGOs working for the betterment of the place we all love. Understand that if we didn’t care about this place, we wouldn’t be so passionate about it. Enough said. Period.
