UPDATE:
According to Ms. Leonida Doctolero, the Sagunto Tribal Women’s Association secretary, Program Ads can be a combination of text and graphics. Due to cost, ads will only be available in black and white, and only a limited edition of 100 programs will be printed. Programs will be printed in letter size (8.5 x 11 inches). The content of your advertisement is limited only by the size of the page you purchase (half or full). Be as creative or verbose as you want to be.
Copies will be available to everyone who purchased an ad and the rest will be distributed to distinguished guests during the fiesta. If you would like to put graphics like photographs, embedded image files or something similar, there is an additional P500 fee.

If you would like to send your payment for the advertisement or donation for the fiesta and waig clean up via wire or bank to bank transfer, contact the association at saguntotribalwomen@gmail.com for the account number. size 8×11? and target readership? what are the main contents aside from the program? don’t hate me, i think they need to add information and specifications in the intro. above. poh! salamat poh!

thanks sis evs for that inspiration for the fiesta committee. i happened to co-organize the sagunto souvenir program way back…hmmn kopong2….that was when maestro salibad was still alive and he helped me print that issue. the succeeding souvenir programs tried to surpass our initiatives since then…they must have gotten a lot better. that time, we could not give every family a copy as we got short of funds. i’m suggesting, they could attract more sponsors and earn more funds if they state the specifics esp. no. of copies, target readership, coz every sponsor has particular purpose in posting ads. i for one, would like to know if it could also reach my target 3G aspirants, and Bago informants, garment selling etc. to aid me in my research and business. but, looking again at the limited time of preparation, i think they’d plan for just a simple program…am i right?

First of all, thank you very much for all your overwhelming response to our endevours. We do appreciate it. Initially, what we have in mind was just a pure and simple Souvenir Program with 100 copies (Limited Edition), Half for advertisers and half for the Balikbayans, invited dignitaries and others. If we spent so much for the Souvenir Program, then nothing will be left for the facilitation of our proposed project. Rest assured, the Barangay Cultural Nights & Rizal Day Celebration will be something out of the ordinary. We do try our best to accommodate every one with our limited capacity. Anyway, as long as Sagunto Star has one copy to scan and post here then everyone can see their page ads and they can print the scanned copy from Sagunto Star, so no worries. Don’t waste money printing copies for each donor, etc., use the money for the projects instead, that’s what it’s for, right? Good luck with your endevours, it is something we support!
Ammok mauma kayon kanyak, daytoy man laengen ti last post ko on this matter: I have a proposal. Can I photocopy (so I could have 100 more copies in color) the final bluerpint of the souvenir program (at my own expense) so that I could hand other Sagunto families (if not to all) their program copy? I am really desperate to reach as many readers as possible about my ads/projects (especially Bago literature search and ECO proj) that spending a bit more is all that I could do. Don’t worry, as I’m expert at photocpying here, cheaper in Japan.

I am very sorry Sagunto Fiesta Program committee…I’m afraid I can’t finish my ad on time. I’m thinking I’d better print my own ads with Sagunto Star chosen articles since I will be making lots of copies for distribution. Nette, Bot and Evs, do you think this is good? ( I am not done with the graphics yet and the text for my ad, blah blah. I’m doomed with the paper deadline too, ahhh) I’ll contribute later on their river cleaning project anyway ) I really want to reach as many readers, and printing chosen pages of Sagunto Star for all the families of Sagunto is another eureka project for me. (I’m sad the program committee never answered my query whether I’d be permitted to photocopy the program into several pages…anyway )I want to feature our 3G projects and Smallbiz on the covers of the printed matter SaguntoStar and advertize other stuff …what do you think?
