The Cemetery
Living in Sagunto is great and even in death Sagunto is still a great place to be. When you die in Sagunto, this is the panoramic view you will spend eternity remembering. 
The cemetery in Agat is the burial grounds for the citizens of Agat, Artacho and Sagunto.
During most of the year, the cemetery becomes overrun with weeds making it hard to get to most of the tombs. It is ironic how that insidious weed with pink flowers that blankets everything is called “cadena de amor” or chains of love. But I suppose that is fitting.
As the population of all the surrounding barangays grow, so does the need for a larger burial ground. The cemetery is thus expanded across the road to accommodate the new occupants. The new lower level of the cemetery requires all its occupants to be buried in-ground, so now the above ground crypts of old are replaced by plaques, making it easier to navigate.
The view is not as panoramic from the new, lower cemetery, but it does have a quaint view along with its resident caretakers:
Every year, at about this time, the clean up of the cemetery is performed by families from the various barangays to get ready for All Saint’s Day on November 1st.
This is a busy time for the barangays, what with the elections going on right this moment. Cemetery clean up is an age old tradition in Sagunto and neighboring barangays that will not be neglected even with all the activities.Best wishes to all the candidates, Happy Halloween and a festive All Saint’s Day to all!

hahaha!i think linya ko yong tawag ng pangangailangan. ah i do remember that guy kelly callo(my cousin from cagayan). madama ak nga agisagsagana idi iti costume ko.immapal met isuna, so he collected everything na kailangan niya for his costume, one of his props eh red paint (boysen latex paint). pininturan nan amin nga parti ti bagi na, eh sensitive pla ung skin niya, di kuwan aggagatelin nga bumbumsog dagidiay kudil nan hahaha. but memorable kanyak ti halloween costume ditoy sagunto, siyak laeng iti champion iti halloween for 3-consecutive years hahaha, grand-slam, boydict callo, hehehee
haha! sister Emz, kinuha ko most of the photos when I was there last Dec. Si bro Larry kasama namin ni mother, tour guide. Then Jer just happened to have the clean up photos on his album that I snagged.
Galing nga ng timing eh, so I had to post it before all the other photos (I hope) from the SK and elections start coming in.

Ya ni Kelly ba gayam didiay idi and I think Kelly was crowned as Mr.Barangay sagunto one time I just do not know what year.
