Kuya Jaime is congratulated by the mayor, Hon. Kimi Cojuangco for a job well done and names him Employee of the Month.

This news is shared to us by the mayor’s secretary, Ms. Joy Julaton.

Want to know why he is Employee of the Month?

Everybody is aware of the open dumpsite at barangay Asan Sur which has caused many problems and little benefit, if any. Mayor Kimi is cognizant of this and ordered the immediate “clean-up” of the dump site.

Kuya Jaime, as we fondly call him, as heavy equipment operator, poured extensive effort in the thorough “clean-up” of the dump site; unmindful of the weather condition, he converted the open dump into a controlled one.

The Honorable Mayor witnessed Kuya Jaime’s hard work when she made an unannounced visit to the dump site. The Mayor was suitably impressed and in recognition of his toils she made Kuya Jaime the employee of the month. A “salo-salo” is set on the 15th of this month courtesy of Mayor Kimi to celebrate this notable work.

To Kuya Jaime, congratulations! You deserve it.

Nice move from the chief executive giving recognition and honor to the municipal employees who are dedicated to their works.
more information about apo Jaime for us ti know better. ..

A bit shocked for the fact that we have already a dump site in our town since that every house had their own garbage pit before what are the barangays that are dumping their wastes in that area? just asking! Barangay Asan Sur wake up!!!

It is good to recognize people like him who are untiringly dedicating their energy for their community. This should be a regular thing, choosing a worker of the month…for you know people need to be appreciated too. (Even God wants to be praised always). Praises and appreciation cure all pains and hardship. But Dear Mayor, could we not grant him a few coins so he could buy disinfectant to cleanse his body before going home? Congrats Apo Jaime!

Hi Emily, thanks a lot for your short article. Kuya Jaime is my sister Lorna’s husband. I lived in Labayug for 3 years (2003-2006), I am presently living in Toronto, On, Canada. I witnessed how dedicated my brother- in- law is doing his job. He worked overtime without pay, no maminsan ung-ungtan ni manang ko ta apay nga maymayat lattan, though it seemed that nobody noticed his efforts. Saan nga managcomplain, basta kaya na aramidenna. One time he related a sad instance. He was asked to haul and load sand from agat river to one of the west brgys in Sison, the brgy captain and his council ate dogmeat for lunch and forgot about kuya Jaime starving while he kept working. Eventually, somebody realized he has not eaten yet so he was given “youngs town sardines” for very late lunch. Isn’t that something?

To my kuya Jaime, sa wakas napansin din ang tapat na pagsisikap mo. Pagpalain kayo ng Dios.

    Sabet
