During their recent vacation to the Philippines, Mr. & Mrs. Ed Dela Cruz (advisers of the Sagunto Friendship Association of London), aside from their ardent support of the Sagunto SK Basketball Tournament, found time from their busy schedule to visit Sison and meet with the mayor and some of her staff. The photo above was taken during lunch with the mayor and her staff. On the photo are:

Among the many ongoing projects they saw is the senior citizens building under construction in Sison.

    oh wow look @ that thanks so much Loejan and Joy for sharing us what is happening in our town and so nice for all the Balikbayans to drop and visit the town and meet the Local Chief Executive and the SB members and be familiarized about the places and the improvements of our town.
    Oh nice Senior Citizen’s Building at last I saw it pictures talks a lot.
    See the message of the Sagunto star song and I quote “No panggep iti Balikbayan taga London ti number wan” so thats it proven again Ed and Carvelun delaCruz no.1 kaysa nga pimmasyar dita Munisipyo nga balikbayan.

    You’re sis Evz, it’s nice to see all the improvements in Sison…it looks like it’s going to be a fairly BIG hall for the senior citizens. I think it can also be available for rent, if I’m not mistaken.

    I hope the DelaCruz’ have made it back to London ok, many, many thanks again for all their assistance in Sagunto during their vacation. You’ve touched many lives by the simplest acts of kindness you performed while there.

    Aye!!! minmayat ti poses yo apo. Nagtataraki ken nagpipintas kay pay. Well done! Umayak sa metten agmula ti papaya. If only all Mayors in the Philippines is like our Honourable Mayor of Sison then Philippines will be better than Singapore and Hongkong. When that happens, people from Southeast Asian countries will come to find jobs in the Philippines not us going abroad.
