The guest speaker for this event is Mr. Onofre Sungay.
“I think we were lucky to have Onofre Sunggay as speaker for… who knows, he could be somewhere else in UK land soon, unreachable then for any seminar like this.
The CYAF I am advising agreed it was a good start to have constant cultural/educational activities like this as our tradition is dying out unnoticed.

My personal insights….
1. A good twist from the sensational witchcraft brouhaha

2. A worthwhile activity that connects church and community

3. Council members and Tribal leaders are always eager to attend activities like this.

Emz hope you can tell me in detail about what ptr. doods is trying to emphasize on the centennial celebration pls. info me in trhough email thanx. yap mga kakabsat UCCP NCLC will be celebrating its centennial this year ba or next year I have a solicitation letter for the souvenir program but it was not yet handed to me Marcy and MaryAnn Ancheta’s another mission when they came here last month to attend the golden wedding anniversary of Tang Emilio and Nang Pasing Ancheta unfortunately I was not able to attend such gathering but we have a phone talk when they are in Samson and Orence Ordona’s place.

Speaking of UCCP centennial celebration, I found a program from the 1986 celebration along with history of the church. Even the sponsored pages were interesting as it listed many Sagunto families and their members. I will post some of the pages here as soon as I get a chance to scan them.
Some of the history is in Ilocano. Anyone interested or have time to translate? Let me know and I will send you copy of the scans. I thought it would be interesting read for those who do not read ilokano too.
