HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, especially to those Dad’s who

-sacrifice being away from their family to be able to provide for them from abroad.

-Help out around the house because the wife is away or is too tired

-truly embrace the role of fatherhood

You all know who you are :-)

Here’s the lyrics in case you’d ask:

PARA LOS PAPAS DE SAGUNTO-LA BAMBA

    I.
    Para laba ni Papa 2x
    Agawid , masapa
    Agluto ti tapa.
    Agbirok ti grasya
    Ni Papa mi
    Arriba, arriba.

    II.
    O yari ba, yari ba
    Ang luto mo,
O halla ka, o halla ka.

    Hindi ka usisero 2x
    Pwedeng Kapitan 3x

    Refrain:
    Bamba, Bamba
    Bombo, bombo,
    Lomolobo, tiyan mo loco.
    ——
    Repeat I
    Repeat II
    Repeat Refrain
    (Asides: agparti ti aso…ayeeee

Oh, just as an FYI, “Para Los Papas de Sagunto” would translate to “For the potatoes of Sagunto”. I couldn’t help but giggle again, I thought perhaps you meant the couch potatoes, bwahahaha. Hay, am getting giddy here…I need a vacation!
